㉞朱子学の始まり 河東丈二

再び中国に話を移します。中国ではキタイが北の方を取り仕切っていましたが、完顔阿骨打（わんやんあぐだ）という英雄が女真族に現れて、金（1115年～）を建国します。そのときに宋の宮廷は今までキタイにやられていたわけですから、金と同盟してキタイをサンドイッチにしたら、ひょっとしたらこれまで取り戻せなかった燕雲十六州を取り戻せるかもしれないと、海路で満州に行って金と同盟を結びます。「海上の盟」ですね。金はあっという間にキタイを滅ぼします。

　追われたキタイは西方に逃げて、カラキタイという国をつくるのですが、宋はキタイの残党と組んで今度は金をけん制しようとします。皆さんが金だったら激怒しますよね。同盟を結んでくれといわれて、同盟を結びキタイを滅ぼした。宋の方は軍をよこすといったのにぐずぐずしていて来ないから独力でキタイをやっつけたのに、その残党と組んで、今度は金に刃向かおうとしているわけですから。

　そこで金は宋の都・開封を落とし、長江の北半分を全部金の領土にします。それが靖康の変（1126年）です。

　このときに宗室一族が南に逃げて、南宋を興します。ここで岳飛（がくひ）と秦檜（しんかい）の物語が生まれます。

　岳飛という気性の激しい将軍は「金と戦って失われた華北を取り戻しましょう」と言って、民衆の喝采を受けます。ところが、秦檜という宰相は「軍事力を考えたらとても金には勝てへん。澶淵システムのODAでやる方がいい」と。どちらが国民の人気を博すかというと、どんな世界でも強硬論が勝つのです。そこで秦檜は岳飛がいたらODAはできないと思い、岳飛を暗殺して和議を結ぶのですが、それをけしからんと思っている学者がいました。朱熹（しゅき）が開いた朱子学者たちです。

　朱子学には、儒教を体系化した「理気二元論」という理念があります。儒教はそもそも、ほかの宗教と比べれたら少々内容が貧弱でした。「家を治め、地域を治め、国を治め、祖先は大事にしないといけない」という処世訓のような話が中心です。仏教が持っていた「東方には浄瑠璃世界があって、薬師如来が仕切っているとか、西方には極楽浄土があって、阿弥陀如来が仕切っている」といった宇宙論のようなものはありませんでした。

　朱熹はそこで理気二元論という、宇宙の根本には理があり、それが気を生み、万物をつくるという概念を完成させました。つまり西洋の哲学に負けないような体系を仏教のロジックも借りながら創り上げた、つまり儒教を体系化したという点で、ものすごく立派な学者です。

　しかし、朱子学は同時に悲憤慷慨（こうがい）の哲学でもありました。本来の中国の主である漢民族は、華北を金に取られて、南に逼塞（ひっそく）していると。つまり、中国の主人は遊牧民ではなく漢民族だという、正統論、イデオロギーを歴史に持ち込んだのです。そうやって朱子学は歴史にイデオロギーを持ち込み、南宋を正統政権にしようとしたことからいろいろな不幸のもとを生むことになっていくのです。

　ちなみに日本では1167年に平清盛が全権を掌握します。清盛の時代まではずっと日本の経済は横ばいで、ほとんど成長しませんでした。しかし清盛は大天才で、そのような状況に宋から宋銭を本格的に輸入して、マネーを流通させて日本に貨幣経済を持ち込みました。どうして中国からお金を輸入することができたのかというと、中国は進んでいてこの当時から紙幣を使いだしたからです。清盛はこの他にも、我が国初の武家政権を誕生させるなど、例えてみればジョブズのような創業の人でした。

The chased Kitai fled to the west and created a country called Karakitai, but Song teamed up with the remnants of Kitai to try to control the Jin dynasty this time. If you were the Jin dynasty, you would be furious. Song dynasty was asked to ally and formed an alliance and destroyed Kitai. The Song dynasty hasn't been to send the army, so Jin Dynasty beat Kitai on its own, but now the Song dynasty is trying to team up with the remnants and turn to the Jin dynasty this time.

Therefore, the Jin dynasty will drop Kaifeng, the capital of Song, and make the northern half of the Yangtze River a territory of gold. That is the Jingkang incident (1126).

At this time, the Imperial clan fled to the south and started the Southern Song Dynasty. This is where the story of Yue Fei and Qin Hui is born.

Yue Fei, a fierce general, received the acclaim of the people, saying, "Let's fight against the Jin dynasty and recover lost North China." However, Chancellor Qin Hui said, "Given the military power, We can't beat the Jin dynasty. It's better to do it with the ODA of the Chanyuan Treaty." When it comes to which one is popular with the people, the hard-line theory wins in any world. Therefore, Qin Hui thought that ODA would not be possible if Yue Fei was present, and assassinated Yue Fei to conclude a consensus, but there was a scholar who thought that it was a bad thing. These are the Cheng-Zhu scholars opened by Zhu Xi.

Cheng-Zhu School has the idea of ​​"Liqi Dual Theory" that systematizes Confucianism. In the first place, Confucianism was a little poor compared to other religions. The focus is on the precepts of "govern the house, rule the region, rule the country, and cherish your ancestors." There was no cosmology that Buddhism had, such as "there is a Joruri world in the east and it is divided by Yakushi Nyorai, and there is a paradise Joruri in the west and it is divided by Amida Nyorai." ..

Zhu Xi completed the concept of the dual theory of physics, there is a rationale at the root of the universe, which gives birth to morale and creates all things. In other words, he is a very good scholar in that he created a system that is comparable to Western philosophy while borrowing Buddhist logic, that is, he systematized Confucianism.

However, Cheng-Zhu was also a philosophy of resentment. It is said that the Han Chinese, who are the main Chinese people, have been taken by North China for the Jin dynasty and are squeezed to the south. In other words, he brought into history the orthodox theory and ideology that the Chinese master is not a nomad but a Han Chinese. In this way, Cheng-Zhu brought an ideology to history and tried to make the Southern Song Dynasty an orthodox government, which caused various misfortunes.

By the way, in Japan, Taira no Kiyomori took full control in 1167. Until the time of Kiyomori, Japan's economy was flat and hardly grew. However, Kiyomori was a great genius, and in such a situation, he imported the Song money from the Song dynasty in earnest, circulated the money, and brought the monetary economy to Japan. The reason why we were able to import money from China is that China was advanced and started using banknotes from that time. In addition to this, Kiyomori was a founder like Steve Jobs, such as the birth of Japan's first samurai government.
